Luke 4:18 -
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent
me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised,

αυτό και με έχρισε. Mε έστειλε με σκοπό σε φτωχούς να
αναγγείλω μήνυμα χαράς, να γιατρέψω εκείνους που έχουν
συντριμμένη την καρδιά, σε αιχμαλώτους να κηρύξω την
απελευθέρωση και σε τυφλούς την ανάκτηση της όρασης.

Mercy Center
The last years, we became concerned about
how successful our ministry was with people who lived in the
streets.
God had touched many people in a dynamic way through us, but we
would then bid them
farewell and leave until we would see them some days later.
Many were saved, but most of them would fall back to their old
lifestyles.
We were thus praying about what to do, when God gave us a vision:
the Mercy Center,
which would be a three floor building in the center of the city, to
welcome and offer hospitality
to these people whose lives we can minister to more successful.
More recently God has led us to rent such a three floor building in
the center of the city,
with a very good rent price, but with much work needed to be
repaired.
We have begun to repair it and the Lord has covered miraculously the
needs and expenses of the labor. We have completed 2/3 of the work
and still need approximately 16,000 Euros
for its completion and the last 1/3 of the work. We ask that you
please pray that this building would truly become a Mercy Center and
that it would have one powerful and bright influence in this dark
neighborhood of Athens. Your
support would be a precious help so that this Mercy Center would
begin to function as soon as possible for the salvation of precious
souls.

The Mercy Center is
located near the Athens' train station and 1 km from the down town.
In a really devastated area of the city, every effort of the Mercy
Center is finding many receiveres.
